A New House!

Doug and I have been looking for a house since we moved here last year. We initially found this development last year, but the prices were too high and we weren't ready to buy at that point. So we waiting until this past February and started looking again. We went back to this development just to see what they had and the prices had come down a lot! They also threw in a fully landscaped yard, full wrap around fence, all appliances, garage door opener and screens for all the windows. So we went for it and put an offer in on the house! It was accepted the same day!

It has been a little over a month for this process, but I really can't complain. There have been a few hiccups ( aren't there always) but last Friday it became official and the house is all ours! There was SO much paperwork to sign, so many documents to get in and a lot of waiting but it was worth it and we have this beautiful home! Of course Doug is going on a business trip this week, so we can't move in quite yet (I dont think 7-month pregnant me should be moving things ) but we will begin as soon as he gets back:) I think I will do some painting while he is gone.

So here is our new home! It is 4 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths and almost 1800 sq feet. It seems huge right now but I am sure we will fill it. The back yard is absolutely amazing. In the picture below it isn't finished yet, but now it is fully fenced and landscaped. The dog loved it when we brought him up there! So over the next three months before the baby gets here we will work on making this place our new home:)
